For Canine Companions manager John Senac, the expectations and experiences of each and every customer—both pets and companions— are foremost in his mind. He keeps a keen eye on total quality management, continually finding ways to improve operations, customer service, and facilities. John earned a business degree from Franklin College (IN) and worked at Goody’s Family Clothing, Enterprise, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Galyan’s.
John joined Canine Companions in 2008 after getting to know Bryan Bailey. “I asked him what he did for a living and his answer was filled with detail and enthusiasm. I told myself this is a person who loves what he does and has a commitment to excellence,” John said.
At Canine Companions, John makes a point of getting to know each customer and their animals. He recognizes the value of each pet as an important family member and Canine Companions' approach to creating individualized programs for each pet’s care.
Being a part of a proactive, locally-owned business is important to John. “Investing in Karst Farm Dog Park, animal welfare, and other educational and civic programs is especially gratifying,” John says.
