Dr. Christy Victor received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Indiana University and veterinary degree from Purdue University. While in Lafayette, she lead Purdue's efforts to charter a student chapter of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and received the senior student award from the AAFP for Proficiency and Interest in Feline Medicine.
Upon award of her DVM degree, Dr. Victor returned to Bloomington where she has practiced veterinary care to the community for the past 15 years. As a family veterinarian, she is compassionate with animals and takes extra time with owners to give comprehensive information and guidance on all aspects of wellness, care, and medical treatment.
“I love watching the development of the bond that forms between a family and their pet. One of my favorite things about being a vet is helping to foster this bond and seeing the pet-family relationship grow through the years.”
Dr. Victor shares her home with a number of family pets, including two cats, two dogs, and three guinea pigs. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, running, hiking, and traveling.
