Meet Dr. Joanna Jones, DVM
Dr. Jones is a graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Indiana Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. Her devotion to dogs led Canine Companions to become one of the few veterinary hospitals in the nation to provide B.A.E.R testing which screens puppies for congenital deafness.

An active member of the Australian Cattle Club of America and Mid-South Australian Cattle Dog Club, she is involved in showing her own dogs in competitive obedience, rally and tracking events. Dr. Jones’ dog Terra is a registered Delta Society Therapy Dog and the pair regularly visits libraries and nursing homes in Monroe County. Dr. Jones also volunteers her time and resources to Midwest Australian Cattle Dog Rescue in St. Joseph, Illinois.
